<p>So if I got a $22,000 scholarship to NYU which I know is amazing coming from their FA Office and im thankful... but I also got a full-ride to Fordham.</p>
<p>NYU has been my dream school for everrr!!! and Fordham... well i dont really know too much about it but im a bit put off by the idea of a jesuit education because i am not religious at all.</p>
<p>i dont know what to do!
can anyone tell me the true positives/negatives of either school so I can finally make a decision??</p>

<p>as a comm major, i cannot stress how much i love NYU’s comm department. if you are into marketing/advertising/public relations/fashion, you cannot get a better education in NYC. our department sends people to fashion magazines, companies such as Chanel and Ralph Lauren, magazines, newspapers and PR houses. we have so many connections through our department. i’m studying religious media in Paris this summer through the department and going to Shanghai to study asian media in 2010.</p>
<p>we are cultural studies based, which means we focus on what media means and what it represents about our culture. if you’re looking for a more technological based comm program (programming, telecommunications), i would go elsewhere. but i LOVE THIS PROGRAM.</p>
<p>i am thinking of going to graduate school for video game studies, and the department has been very supportive. i’ve had nothing but good classes here and the industry connections just blow my mind. </p>
<p>i don’t know anything about fordham. i urge you to tour NYU again, however. but i really love Steinhardt.</p>
