help please!!

ok so here's the deal i'm going into 11th grade and i only have one year of high school spanish completed. i would have had two years but last year i had a really bad year and ended up failing spanish for the year. i can take the class over again this year and just be a year behind every one but i really dont want to retake the class. but now i'm having second thoughts because i'm afraid it will look really bad on college if i dont complete the whole course. i'm so stressed out right now and school didnt even start yet. do you think that i can still get into a pretty good college with out taking spanish? all i'm asking is for advice.

first find out which schools you want to apply to and see if they require two years (or more) of a language. i would take the course again and explain why you failed it the first time. i failed my second year of spanish and didn't meet the language req for alot of schools because i didn't take it again. or if you prefer, you could start over w/a different language, you would still get the two years in and if your on block scheduling, you could probably get three or four semesters in.

thank you so much for the advice. i def will consider everything you said.
