Hi, I just found this forum and I hope you can help me.
I have recently graduated from an university in Sweden where I earned a MSc in Economics (and a BS in Mathematics). I would like to enroll in a Ph.D. program in Economics and I wonder if you could recommend a university to apply to. I graduated at the top 5 in my class.

You will probably be best served by figuring out what specifically in economics you wish to study (which area to focus on) and talk to your professors on which programs would meet your needs. If you had a BS in Mathematics I imagine you did fairly well in the courses needed for graduate level economics in the U.S. (Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Probability, and an Introduction to Mathematical Analysis, ). However, your professors will have a much better idea of your standing relative to other students for graduate work than any poster here.
