<p>I live in wyoming. 3.8-4.0 GPA (starting IB next year, and assuming I keep my grades). Do extra curricular activities (sports, VERY avid musician, gonna get a job pretty soon). If I wanna get into a place like Stanford, can you give me a minimum ACT score that I would need to get to have a good chance of getting in? Any other helpful tips would be gratefully welcomed (was that good word choice for that last sentence?0.o)</p>
<p>a good chance? its always a coin toss or less even if you have a perfect score. 34+ i suppose</p>

<p>That helps of course, but what do you mean by “small ethnicity”? Is it small number-wise? Are your people physically small? Stanford’s one of those schools that nobody can tell you for sure whether you’ll get in or not. Do your best and if by senior year you get that 34+ ACT, 3.9+ UW GPA, and manage to find a hook, then go for it.</p>
