Hi I’m unsure of my future major, I have several options, one of them being Business. I took AICE business 1 last year( AICE is like AP), and I have an opportunity to take AICE Business 2, which would give me several more credits to potentially do my major in college. I’m unsure of AICE Business 2 though, because I heard having 3 years of Spanish is important as well… I did however take a gap year away from Spanish, after finishing Spanish 2 in my freshman year of high school. I’m unsure of which class to take( AICE Business 2 or Spanish 3). Which one should I take this year, I’m currently going to be a junior upcoming in school.
If your career aspirations are centered around business, I would recommend that you take the business class your junior year to get further exposure to business before you start applying for college. You can always take Spanish 3 senior year, but not taking spanish 3 in high school will definitely not sway you chances of getting into a college; it is good to show commitment by continuing a foreign language but if it’s not there, colleges won’t bother too much.
