<p>Will having an old AP History book be harmful. It is around 5 or 6 years old, has the test significantly changed or anything? I don't really want to buy a new book if I have a perfectly fine book already. Gracias.</p>

<p>i am going to take the APUSH exam next year, so i dont know for sure, but i think because the AP's are constantly being revised you should probably buy a newer edition.</p>
<p>It's history...it doesn't change. Obviously your book won't have some of the "newer" history, but you could easily cover that with a prep book rather than spending a ton of money for a newer edition.</p>

<p>Very true, but sometimes the setup of the test will be different, but you can look at collegeboard's website and they will tell you the exact topics that will be covered on the exam. So, you should be fine.</p>
