HELP PreMed at a Top Ranked School VS Any random school?!?

Hello everyone,
I am planning on going into pre-medicine. I am a senior in high school this fall and will graduate in june. There is a high possibility that I would be able to get into schools such as Vanderbilt, U Michigan, Case Western, etc. I am also definitely able to attend Ohio State or Cincinnati. However, I really like the University of Dayton. The campus is wonderful and it just feels like the right place for me. It has about 7,000 students and it even has it's own pre-medical office which helps keep ECs, recs, and tests in order, while helping you apply to med school. Dayton is obviously not as big of a name as some of the others i have listed, but is it better to go to a small school you really love and be a top student, or go to a top ranked school and be an average student, blending in with the others in the program. Will the school's name give me more advantage when it comes to applying to med school or is it not a huge factor.

THANKS!

Go to the best school for you, the one where you can be active and involved AND where you have the least debt!

My DD got into UW and one of the first other people admitted was a guy from a small private Christian school, nothing well known nationwide, but he got in and he had had the opportunity to shine in that small school environment.

Go where you feel happy, better chance for higher GPA at happy place.

thanks for the advice! :)
