Help! Presidential Scholars Program

Hey guys,

So I want to submit my application for PSP online, but I have a few questions that I would really appreciate, if answered:

1) Are we allowed to select a NON-high school teacher as your most influential educator? ie, a middle school teacher? If so, what do you put on the form for "school"?

2) Where is the online application itself?!! I downloaded the paper one, but I need to find the online one to find out the character/word requirements for the essays. I cannot for the life of me find a link anywhere on the entire site for it!

I thought maybe the application would start after I filled out the forms (candidate control, teacher selection). But I can't finish those forms before I find out about the whole teacher problem.

This is extremely frustrating. I e-mailed PSP last week, and this week again, plus I called them, but no response! With the deadline quickly approaching, I would really appreciate an answer, so any alumni of the program, or anyone else familiar with the system?

Sorry this is so long, if you took the time to read this, thank you very much.

Go to this site, and enter your user ID and password

https://wdcrobcolp01.ed.gov/CFAPPS/PSAO/login/logon_1.cfm

It should go right into the online application, and on the left there will be links for the different segments of the application.

I’m not sure about the teacher question.

Hope this helps : )

thank you so much
I had gotten to that point, but i couldnt find the essays themselves. i called today again and someone told me i needed to finish the forms before i could get to the essay.
and they also told me that i should just ignore the “high school” part of the section and right the teacher’s home address instead.
