Hi. I have an interview next week with a PE firm but honestly don't know much about private equity. I really want to land this gig still though. Anyone got any advice for me? Where can I brush up on PE quickly?

Read M&A book on NY times?
How did u get the interview with little knowledge about it lol

You definitely want to work on fit and technical questions for your upcoming interview similar to IB. For fit, why P/E, why your school, leadership experiences, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Additionally, you will want to at least have a familiarity with some basic technical questions in accounting and finance.

My interview went okay… I don’t get think I will get the position though. Wasn’t so ready for the technical questions lol. I have another interview next week with another PE firm. For some reason they keep calling me back even though I have no experience in PE/IB/finance. Maybe its my GPA and major lol. But yeah hopefully the next interview goes little bit more smooth.
