tuser, I understood the original situation, and gave my point of view. What he suggested, and the way in which he suggested it, is not optimal. But whether you were able to read papers and understand them, that’s different. If you basically did no research work at all (whose fault is this is a different matter), then you can’t really produce a poster. But I agree with SusieBra that 1) you need to relax and 2) you’re a little naive. Life is complicated, and only you are responsible for your actions, so you’re not really gaining a lot by complaining that you’re being encouraged to commit plagiarism.

Um, I did what I was instructed to do on the premise that there would be “produced results” and “enough material to create a poster” later. I asked several times if there was anything I should be reading or researching in regards to this project, and was given nothing. Can’t see how this is my fault. Just following orders.

tuser, the list of grievances is the most hilarious thing I’ve read in this forum. I thank you for the good laugh.

^ i especially liked the part about itunes gift cards, the girl who couldn’t read, and the lab tech who thinks 1 grams always = 1 milliliter

@ necrophiliac, ChoklitRain - LOL I’m glad someone’s getting a good laugh out of my situation haha. I did reread my list of grievances and, yeah, I do espouse a sarcastic writing style. Satire and sarcasm aside, that’s actually what’s going on here. Yeah. Fifteen more days of this. Maybe I too can get a $15 iTunes gift card?

Go NSF Grants!!!
