Help! Questions about the conditions of admission!

Hello everyone! I am really happy to get into UCB but i'm facing a pretty serious problem now.

The conditions of admission state that I must "Complete all final-year courses listed on your application (including any external examinations) with an overall unweighted B average for each term and no grade lower than a C.”

I am getting straight A's in all my senior classes (avg around 94%, 86% is a A here). But my question is, does "all final-year courses” include a course that I am taking in a local university? This course (Honor Integral Calculus) is a great challenge to me and is far beyond regular high school even first year university calculus curriculum. The only reason I didn’t give up at first place because i thought grade should not be my biggest concern. Instead, what I get out of this course is the most important part. Also, university courses have a much tougher grading standard, especially when it’s an honor course. Therefore, I feel a little unfair if this is course is considered as a part of my high school average. I am trying very hard in this class to get over 65%, but it is giving me a lot pressure recently. Can anyone give me some advices or clarify whether this challenge course will be a big problem for me?

Thanks a lot!!

Does this class go into your high school gpa? If not, then no it’s not considered. To be absolutely sure, call the registrar and ask.

Also an 86 is considered an A at your school?!

@dina4119 Thanks for your reply. No it does not go into my high school gpa. it’s totally an extra thing I’m doing out of school. and yes here in Canada, 86+ is considered as an A.

If you don’t want them to see the college grades, then don’t send them it to them! They’ll only get it if you send them. See no evil, hear no evil!
