Hi everyone,
I recently committed to Ramapo College on a Presidential Scholarship (basically, I'll have $5k in loans). However, I just found out that I'm a provisional recipient for the Buick Achievers Scholarship ($25k/yr). This entirely changes everything if I do indeed receive the money. I find out for sure in June, but I have to put down a deposit on May 15 at other schools. Drexel gave me $33k, Stevens gave me $25k, and Fordham gave me $25k. I would like to be a Marketing Major. Any advice would be extremely helpful. I thought I was finished with the selection process, but I guess not.

I’m interested in Stevens…may I ask what is your GPA and SAT score? btw they have a cool quantitative finance program and check this out for more info. I think Fordham is more well known though…never heard of Ramapo

89 gpa, 2070 SATs

The name of a school counts in Marketing Major. I lived in Bergan County for over 10 years, so I know Ramapo well. I think you have to recalculate your net price without loan first and reconsider Fordham first(for marketing), if price difference is not too much.
Stevens is good in Engineering but did not know they have a business school, at least when I was living in Hoboken.

@artloversplus the costs I posted were already calculated for financial aid without loands

Well I don’t understand what do you mean “gave”? To me, that is th FA part not the net price.

You can put down multiple deposits and make a decision after the scholarship is awarded. You will lose some money though.
