My case is quite unusual.
I attended University at Buffalo as an international student and dropped out 5 years ago in my senior year - Computer Science major with terrible GPA. (Attending college wasn’t my interest and my dad was in very bad health condition at that time)
Anyway, try to make the long story short, I came back to my country and opened business, after 5 years with many failures I finally have a successful business which can run on its own and gives me a quite good income - 200k per year.
Now I want to comeback and finish college (at the age of 31). Would I have chance to be admitted to any top 30 colleges?
Other information:
-GPA: ~2.4
-SAT: 800 Math, 780 Physics, 780 Chem, 700 Reading
-Oracle Java Associate/Professional Certification
-Ton of business experience (One is considered as quite successful)
-Can only get letter of recommendation from my former boss
-Financial aid doesn’t really matter to me
*) Is it possible that I omit the transcript from UB to hide the weakness in my application and apply as a freshmen?
