HELP! Rejected from SVA poor grades, Community college transfer in the future

So i was recently rejected from SVA, i aplied for BFA photography, they said that i had to improve my gpa, so they recommend that i attend a local college to improve my GPA, I should attend two semesters full time with 12 credits minimum and 3 courses in humanities and sciences.

I applied to BMCC : Liberal Arts
Queensborough CC: Liberal arts
Laguardia CC: Commercial photography;fine arts
kingsborough CC: Liberal arts

but i dont know if the Liberal Arts programs are the right ones for me to transfer to SVA or Parsons after Two semesters, Is it possible to transfer after my freshman year?

THANK YOU I REALLY NEED HELP, HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT COMMUNITY COLLEGES

That was the excuse they gave you? What’s your GPA? Is it below a 2.5?

Is it possible I take the 12 credits one semester and they may accept me, or do I have to take it two semesters, and like you said does the GPA count whether it is 2.5 or higher. I just want to know if I can transfer next semester taking 12 credits this semester in humanities & sciences. I just really want to get in the school.
Thank you

SVA’s REALLY expensive, just so you know. My friend goes there, and she was 6th in her class at her private high school, got a 3.9 GPA last year, and is STILL paying tons to go there. If you live in NY, try FIT, maybe?

matah190893 I also have a low GPA 2.7 What was your GPA when you got rejected?
