Help replace my Boston University void with a good match

Typical CC student but with better ECs lol. Here's my list to get a feel for what I'm looking for. I visited BU and hated it so I need to replace it on my list. Any help is appreciated.

1) Yale University VISITED
2) University of Pennsylvania – Wharton VISITED
3) Duke University
4) Cornell University
5) New York University – Stern VISITED
6)
7) Northeastern University
8) Syracuse University
9) University of Miami
10) SUNY (Geneseo, Binghamton, Albany, Buffalo)
11) CUNY (Baruch, City, Queens) VISITED

What is it that you are interested in studying? Might help in terms of recommendations.

Boston College.........

Brown university and/or Northeastern

Notheastern is already on my list :)

I'm looking to major in business. A great college campus in a typical college town with the feel of Boston or Philly. Preferably in the northeast.

NO MORE IVIES!! LOL

I'd second the BC recommendation and perhaps Babson and Villanova? A BC degree rulz Boston from what I've heard.

I think BC too.

Do Cuny's like Queens and Baruch have housing?

I like BC but I'm worried about employment/recruitment opportunities. I'm trying to remember the source in which I saw it in but a good percentage of graduating BC students were unemployed 6 months after graduation.

CUNYs have limited housing so I am using them for my safeties as I live in NYC.

What are your views on Bentley College?

What about Lehigh? Did you look at U of M, NE, Syracuse and the others on your list? How did you like them?

Are you open to the University of Texas? It is far and a large univesity.

george washington university, american university, Emory,

university of michigan

I'd be a little wary of Bentley. Not very selective and seems to attract the dullards at my school. It has done a nice job of "marketing" itself though, which is another reason for concern. What did you hate about BU?

Maybe a few years' ago when all college grads were in tough shape. BC business has good placement.

How about Fordham University? Fordham has a reputable undergraduate business program in NYC. It is less selective than NYU but is more competitive than some CUNY schools.

Babson?......

What did you hate about BU? if you tell us that, we can suggest colleges which dont have whatever you hated.

I mostly hated the student body and the modern, cold feel of the campus. It's basically like a crappy version of NYU with bad architecture. I hated the campus. And the students I spoke to, which were around 50 from different residences said that the social life was terrible. After visiting, I beleive them. The university is seriously lacking a community feel with spirit.

Emory University (Goizueta)

I'm not a huge fan of BU's campus but I gotta say that if you didn't connect with anyone at such a diverse school and meeting over 50 people, the problem just might not be with the school and might have something to do with you? Just sayin...
