No, BU's campus can seen like a huge void of community, and not the most wonderful campus to most people especially right next to the highway and splity by a four-lane street.

I'm sorry, the biggest turn off is that half the campus is squished between the MassPike and Commonwealth Ave...talk about cramped!

I'm not sure if your post was in response to mine, but I wasn't advocating BU's campus (or lack thereof) by any stretch. Boston University IS, however, a very diverse collection of people. You'll find a cross section of incredibly smart folks as well as those who are more interested in the party life and yet I find it tough to believe that one could meet 50 people or so at BU and be turned off by all of them....

I would definately advise you to apply to Michigan. Their undergrad business program has consistently been in the top 5, and will no doubt increase thanks to a $100 million donation to the school. I chose UMich over a Stern scholarship and Wharton because of the amazing campus and student diversity (not to mention a scholarship). Ross also just became a 3 year program that you can apply to get preferred admittance to as a high school senior. Good luck!

Well, schools comparable to BU are Syracuse, Miami (FL), USC, NYU, McGill, American, and maybe Fairfield, but then you may have similar objections to these as BU.

Bentley has a good business program and a nice campus but it is in the suburbs 10 miles from Boston.

I urge you to continue to visit the schools, meet the students and faculty to decide, just like you are doing.
