Help!! Retack GRE?`

<p>Hi guys, I'm applying electrical engineering PhD program of Fall 2009 semester. I'm a foreign student and have been studied in an American university for 2 yrs as an exchange student.</p>

<p>I recently took the GRE general test, and got verbal 660, math 800. However, the writing section is messed up, 3.0, as LOW as 8%. When I finished the test, I knew that I blew the writing part, but didn't expect it to be this low. So do you guys think I should retake it? </p>

<p>I don't think you will need to retake GRE.</p>

<p>This is what I would suggest</p>

<p>1) find the schools you plan to apply</p>

<p>2) Which professors research work interests you </p>

<p>3) Send them email about your interest ( How</a> to write email to professor for Graduate School Admission )</p>

<p>4) If they respond, then that's a good sign</p>

<p>5) If you happen to decide which professor you plan to work with, then writing score of 3.0 will no be an issue.</p>
