(Help) Safety Schools for the average transfer student

Hey everyone, I am a Freshman at St. John's University in NYC. I have decided early on that I wanted to transfer for a better college experience. I have traveled to different states for interviews and information sessions to express my interest in these schools, however, my grades are not all that, especially if these schools will look at my High School transcript.

I would like to ask you what are some good safety schools that I may be able to get into!

Here are my grades:

3.1 College GPA

High School weighted GPA - 74% on a 100 percent scale

I have involved myself with clubs and have done community service more then once.

Applying to:

American U, James Madison, Uconn (Storrs), Eckerd College, Umass Amherst, BU

Thanks!

Rutgers New Brunswick?

The in-state public universities in your state of residency are likely places to look for admissions and financial safeties. However, depending on what you mean by “better college experience”, they may not necessarily be what you want.

Ub sounded like a good college experience to me and they also have 15% international students!
