Okay I'm not sure I spelt dilemma right but here goes:

There's one more chance to retake in January and I'm not sure if I should work to improve my SAT I scores or my SAT II scores. Currently I have:

SAT Reasoning:
780 CR / 760 M / 740 W --> 2280

SAT Subject Tests:
MathIIC - 750
Literature - 700
French Language - 770
World History - 700

I know if I actually study this time I can probably make a 2350+ in the SAT Is. Similarly I'm looking to boost my MathIIC and Lit to 770+.

My question is, would it be better to have a 2350+ in SAT I, or would it be more worthwhile to increase my Math and Lit scores to 770+? I'm applying to HYP, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Your SAT I is absolutely fantastic. So are your subject tests. However, if I were you, I'd redo the subjects since your SAT I is really, really high.

If you take out the writing, you have a 1540/1600. Once you pass that 1500 mark, then you don't have too much to worry about. People sometimes get turned down with 2300s and 2400s. The minimum is 1400, but the score that they don't tell you that you NEED to get in order to be considered for that college is something above 1500. I wouldn't worry about the SAT I.

i would say retake the subject tests.
your sat i is fabulous for HYP but i think that you would want to submit a higher math score because more applicants at these schools have 770+ math scores, and another subject test that's 750+.
