Help!!! SAT Math Section

Hi guys...I need some advice...

I took the SAT in oct of last year and scored a 700 on the math section (which is my lowest score). I only missed three problems! I also took the Math 2c in june, which i scored an 800 on! (so im a bit confused right now on why my sat 1 score is so low) Does someone have ANY suggestions on how to get math scores up to an 800 (After all, its only three questions we're talking about)...any books, websites, anything that really works in a short amount of time (by the october test)??? thanks!!! :)

Wow, that's incredibly harsh. On the June SAT, two misses and one omit was a 750.
Honestly, if I were you I'd probably just retake it with little/no prep. Three problems is almost nothing and the curve would probably be more generous.
Good luck!

Do you know what problems you got wrong and how you got it wrong? That can help. But since you only missed 3 problems, (1) you don't really need to prep more and (2) you probably shouldn't retake, because colleges will see that you clearly know math (800 on Math 2), so I'm wondering why you want to retake an easier math section when it's obvious that you can do math. Sounds like a waste of time.

Sounds like a matter of pride

SAT scores are reported with SAT II scores, so they will see your 800 and know you know math. Honestly, if you retake and do worse on the other sections it will probably look worse.

lol guys, its not a matter of pride, its a matter of being able to get my SAT score up 100 points by just getting 3 questions right...imagine, that can take me from a 2190-2290 (possibly). The main reason im even wasting my time retaking is because i want to apply to YALE SCEA, and we all know how hard that is...:) lol so the higher, the better! :D

lol yeah I was kidding. You cant even study for 3 problems. Seems like you know your stuff.

i say you retake it.. you dont need to study since it's 3 darn questions.......... i mean, if you can go from 700->800 just by spending 4 hours nd 50 bucks, i say do it. A 2290 is more impressive than 2190 (although this is amazing too)...
