Help/Schools that don't require Instructor Evaluations- Transfer

** I posted in that fourm also :)
Is there a list out there of schools that don't require a letter of recommendation to transfer? I've googled it and searched here and all I get is responses that don't require an essay.

The reason I'm asking this is because my two FAVORITE FAVORITE schools do require them, but I have really no hope of those schools anymore so I'm trying to find other options where I could be happy at also.

I know Lehigh doesn't require one, and that's one of my favorites but most of them do require a letter.

*Disclaimer: I'm not at the university I was first semester, I'm at the local community college; I'm ~5 hours away from said university. I'm taken the time to my three professors (from last semester, previous university) really in-depth emails about the process and asking for recommendations- this was 3 weeks ago, I never heard ANYTHING back from them, not even a response telling me they didn't feel comfortable doing them, just nothing. So a week & a half ago, I sent a follow up email just stating the due date, and adding if they didn't feel confident in doing one to let me know ASAP because I need to find something. I called two days ago, none have returned my phone calls. I feel like I'm stuck against a wall.

Since I'd be transferring as a sophomore these three teachers are really my only options (I took three classes only because one was 6 credits, 1 was 4 and one was 3- All honors; I took another 2 credit gym to fulfill my club sporting requirement (was no instructor)

I can't do another semester here- it's not an option because my mother just accepted a job that she'll start mid summer as a CEO in Vegas, and my dad got a job similar to his now (college instructor) and I REALLY think it would look bad to attend a THIRD college and attempt to transfer

so yeah;
does anyone have a list of schools that don't require instructor evaluations?

gaaah, I used to think this site was so helpful… anybody?

this is a tough question to answer really. I don’t know what area of the country you are looking at schools. Lehigh in PA? James Madison doesn’t require recs (though they allow one rec, just not required).

haha yeah, It’s seems really general I was just looking to see if there was a list
and yeah Lehigh in PA is a top choice but a definite reach

I’m looking all over the country really except the midwest (not including texas, or the south)

I don’t know if it helps but I attended Penn State University and am not really interested in state schools due to their size

? help haha i think i may ask my current english teacher
