Help!!! Screwed up on residency status on UC Application!!

I am a student that planning to transfer on fall 2018. I just found that I made a mistake on the residency status on UC application. I spent 2+ yrs on my high school equivalent diploma, so on the UC application when it asks my residency I put no instead of yes (I think it should be yes) I called the UC Application Center about how to fix this, they told me to make explanation for this on the upgrade, which I did. Will this have a huge negative impact on my UC Application?

Also, even though the person answered phone from UC application center said I don’t need to contact each uc campus to explain about this, should I talk to them anyway?

BTW, I started to worry if this will make no school of UC will enroll me. Really freaked out about this , and sincerely need help from you guys.

I thought the rule was three years at a hs with related diploma. Does 2+ years cut it?

Wait why does the high school thing matter if you’re applying as a transfer? And it says 3+ years/if you got a diploma, otherwise you say no. I went to a California hs for only 3 years so I said no, as I got my diploma in Washington. However I’ve been living in California ever since for 5 years have been goin to a ccc, so I am a California resident. OP I don’t see what the problem is in this situation? Are you not from a CCC?
