dudes i have always been like an All A (few Bs) student in my competitive school, rank 22 out of 750, national merit finalist, 13 AP classes, many 5s and 4s in AP tests, 2220 SAT score, lots of volunteering/clubs, am in all AP classes this year etc etc. but last six weeks (beginning of second semester) i dont know what the hell is wrong with me but i got really depressed because of high school results and stuff and the fact that my twin sister was ahead of me in rank..but anyways i messed up my grades. really bad.like i have all Bs, 2 Cs, and even an F. I have now come to terms with things and am doing my best to fix things. I have been accepted so far to UC Berkeley college of Engineering and UT Austin COllege of Engineering. Am I presently in danger of being Revoked?! i'm doing my best to fix my crap now and am planning on getting like 2 As, rest Bs, a C ( in AP Calculus BC) and possibly a D(in AP Stat)... would that get me revoked? i'm so scared i dont want to be revoked...i'm going to talk to all my teachers and tell them whats up. but just i'd like to know where i stand and it'd be cool if someone could shed light on it...idk just talking about these grades disgusts me..

The UCB provisional agreement states you need to maintain a B-average during your final semester of high school. I think you’d need to raise at least that D?

But the most I can raise it to is a C. So does that mean I’m revoked, that’s it? Should I call my colleges and tell them the situation? Oh and will this affect my chances of getting in Rice after having been waitlisted?

If you need a B- average and have 2 As, a B, and 2 Cs, you should be fine in terms of whether you’re revoked.

I plan on having 2 As, 3 Bs (bottom Bs probably), and 2 Cs. Its the best I can do at the moment, but will this lead to me being revoked?

Oh yeah. UC Berkeley wants you to keep a B average and nothing below a C. You better get those grades up, and if you can’t, you better contact them.

But then won’t they immediately reject me or something? And how would that help?

I don’t think they’d immediately reject you – it’s supposed to be based on final grades. And if you have 2 As, 3 Bs, and 2 Cs, isn’t that a B average? o-o

Regarding your question to my post, it does state that if you fail to meet even one of the requirements (of which this is one) the acceptance will be revoked. Better get working!
