i was only working on my essays and totally forgot about this part.

It says "to be completed only by studnets in US school systems"
but part of my high school education is from korea(i'm am currently attending a US school)

should i just report the coursesi took in US and leave out the Korean school courses?

I am in the same situation as you (part of my HS education was in Singapore). What I did was I put in whatever it said on my official HS transcript, then for the classes that I took in Singapore, I specified so in the Course Title area (like "Chemistry (Singapore)"). I also explained further about it when they ask you if there's anything they should know about the school's grading system.

I was going to put only the courses from my US school.

arkteck
did MIT tell you to do that?
this is going to be really complex because korean school course titles are very general and ambiguous.
For example, the title for the math class is just "mathematics." not "precalculus" nor "ap calculus"

And also, when my korean school transcripts were translated into US high school transcript format, some of the courses I took in Korea were omitted because korean HS require 12 classes per year whereas US HS require only 7 classes. So should i list every courses that i took from each school?

It says in the directions: "If your courses were taken outside of your high school (at a local junior college or university, for example), tell us where they were taken in the Course title field." I took that as also including a different high school, so I specified which school it was.

I know what you mean about course titles; my classes in Singapore were also simply called " Mathematics" and "History" and "Science". As I said earlier, I simply put whatever it said on the transcript from my present American HS. They changed the courses titles so that they were actual courses offered at the school.

Be sure to explain the situation where they ask you for any additional information about your high school grading system. You should include all the classes that you took in your high school career.
