Hi everyone, I'm currently a junior. I'm debating doing a dual enrollment program at my local community college (6 courses at my HS, 2 a semester at comm college) or doing the standard 8 courses at my high school.

I am interested in the dual enrollment but I'm not sure if I'd be overloading myself. My senior schedule is currently all AP/honors classes + 4 classes at community college. A pro/con would be that you leave school at 1pm to go to the college everyday (regardless of if you have class or not). However, I'm not sure how it'd work with club activities (if they were scheduled at the same time as a class), etc.

Option 1- Hon French 4, AP English, Forensic Science (Syracuse dual enrolment, weighted as AP), IB Math Studies/AP Stats, AP Economics, Financial Investments and Insurance(req. course for academy) + 4 courses at comm. college & gym everyday during required study hall block

Option 2- Hon French 4, AP English, Forensic Science (Syracuse dual enrolment, weighted as AP), IB Math Studies/AP Stats, AP Economics, Financial Investments and Insurance(req. course for academy), AP Euro/IB Psychology, Gym class + Study hall

If you were me, what would you choose? Do you think there's a point in taking a super rigorous course load? Thanks everyone!
