HELP - Sept ACT Delay - ED Dilemna?

I took the ACT for the first time on September 2015 and scored well on the composite. However, for some reason, my writing scores are still not released. This is preventing me from sending out the ACT score report to my colleges.

I am applying Early Decision, to where the ACT score deadline is Nov. 1st.

Will I be able to send this score in time? Or will I have to apply regular decision?

What should I do?

Colleges generally list when the last SAT or ACT will hit their various deadlines. Go check and see.

@T26E4 The college lists that the October 24 will be the last test date, but I’m not sure how to interpret this, since it uses the wording: “The latest date for ADDITIONAL testing is October 24 for the ACT”.

It means you’re fine. The college accepts the October 24th ACT, which means they’ll accept scores throughout November.

I am worrying about the same exact problem!!

I hope the colleges will still accept delayed scores coming in WAY after the application deadline, which would be November 1st.
There are TONS of people who didn’t receive their full ACT score report (including international students) so I think colleges will understand…I hope.

Usually the deadline for scores is about a month after the application deadline. You’re fine.

I was just at an HYP info session – this question came up during the Q&A. Both the Y and H reps said that as long as you take the test during the month that the app is due, it should be alright – although try to avoid taking it in Nov as there was no guarantee. – just like @Qwerty568 said
