Help settle an argument :O

<p>My friend is being all anal and hes like "no the long essay on Common App cant be more than like 550 words or they'll pwn you" and I'm like "but they dont specify a limit online..." </p>

<p>So who is right? I agree that it shouldn't be like 1000 words, but something like 650 shouldn't be too bad if it flows well, right?</p>

<p>I think that anything between 250 and 650 should be fine.</p>
