Hi guys, i am accepted by Thurgood Marshall College in the fall, but when i check my Room Assignment Information, i find that my dorm is Challenger Hall, which is in Revelle College. How is the dorm there? And i want to know if i should change my dorm back to TMC or stay there, because that makes me feel i am not a TMC student anymore and also makes inconvenient to my classes and life. Can i get any opinions ? Thx!

you could change? how? O_o
same **** happened to me lol

I don't think you CAN change. that does kind of suck though. a lotttt of people this year were placed in the revelle dorms.

its that there are too many students at tmc. and revelle has like a lot of res halls since it was the first college and thats where everyone stayed. so if you signed up for the housing late you get pushed to revelle. and i dont think its inconveniant for classes. but it just makes you not feel like a marshall student.

yeah i mean chem classes are down in york hall which is in revelle.

You probably signed up later then most of the other thurgood marshall ppl.

oh well, seems i can not move bakc....
But if i live in revelle all the time, will i miss any marshall activies or other things ? BTW, Is my roommate goona be marshall student ?

why dont you contact your roomates. its almost move in

I lived in Atlantis in Revelle first year (I am a muiron). Most of our building was from Muir too (there were 2 or 3 Revelle students), so it wasn't all that bad. Our RA had weekly newsletters that included Muir activities and Revelle activities, so we could go to both, so you don't really miss out on much in that respect. It really isn't all that bad... Plus, a lot of my classes were in York 1st year (Chem, Math...) so it was VERY convenient to be in Revelle. Don't stress out about it. Although you really should contact your roommate... If I hadn't, we would have had two refrigerators, two microwaves and two TVs in one room...

Thx very much guys!!~ your opinions really help me a lot !~
