Rising senior here. I stupidly did not realize that Dartmouth needed two SAT subject tests until now and I haven't taken any. I took APUSH last year and after the AP exam would've been the perfect time to take the U.S. History subject test, but of course I didn't... sigh. Hopefully I've retained enough info to possibly take it early this fall. I would probably take the Literature or Math II one as well. I don't know if I should though! Dartmouth is definitely the ultimate dream/reach school for me.

Other schools I'm considering applying to (all of which do not need SAT subject tests): Middlebury, Kenyon, Davidson, Duke, Vassar, Hamilton, Colgate, Amherst.

State: PA
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Sex: Female

ACT: 31
SAT: 2120 (740 W, 680 M, 700 CR)
GPA: 4.26 (weighted, not sure of unweighted)
Class rank: unknown, but probably in top 10% at least
APs: U.S. History (5), next year Biology, Calc AB, and Lit.

Extracurriculars: varsity cross country (team placed 4th in states last year! shazam!), long distance running for track & field, school newspaper, editor for school literary magazine, NHS, secretary of Young Arborist Club
Work experience: two summers working in the front office of a doctor's office
Community service: consistent volunteering at my church with fund-raising, the annual vacation bible school, etc.

So, given my stats, do I have enough of a chance to go through the trouble of taking the subject tests and apply just for the heck of it, even though I will most likely not get in anyways? :| Thanks for any help!
