Help-Should I major in Business but then require an extra year of college?

Hello,

I am a student at a top 25 school. I am intending to complete a major in Government and potentially Econ or BBA. The thing is, I am almost done with my Government major. I will just be starting my Econ major. The Econ major at my school is weak and bad with job placement. The BBA program at my school is great! If I were to pursue the BBA program, it would require one additional year because I would have to take more courses. This isn't a problem financially because I'm on a scholarship. What do you guys think- Government/Econ with normal 4 year graduation or Government/BBA with 5 year graduation? After college, I hope to be employed in consulting, finance, management. A few years down, I hope to pursue either a JD or MBA-not sure yet.

Thanks for the help!

Are you sure your scholarship will extend to a 5th year? If so, may as well.

yes it will- i have spoken to the chair to address that concern
thanks!

could anyone else shed some light? thx so much
