I applied around thanksgiving and have a GPA of 2.3 and 1290 out of 1600 on the SAT
Why does my status say “In Review” is that bad? It’s been a month I should have heard back right?

my application was in review for about 3 months so its not always bad.

was accepted btw

i'm still not in, should i be worried? should i call someone? this is the only school i applied to and i am really nervous

I don't know if there is a standard but my S's notice of application receipt was 11/13 and his notice of acceptance is dated 1/14 so for him it took 2 months. If you sent yours out at the very end of November it seems you should hear something this week. BTW I called the admissions office questioning the "in review status" before the word came and the folks in admissions were really courteous about checking it out.

still "in review", is there anything i should say when i call, it seems like i meet the requirements, idk what's wrong

You can tell them that when you checked your status online it has said that you a are "in Review" for however long you have been. You can tell them that you wanted to be sure that nothing was missing from your application and that there was no problem that has been holding up the decision. If there is no indication of a problem you can ask if they can estimate how long it might take to get a decision. Just be polite. I am sure they understand the anxiety involved. If you are lucky you will hear what I heard. "He has already been admitted". It seems the status changed on line between the time we checked it in the morning and the time I made the call! When I went back and checked sure enough the status was changed to admitted!
Good Luck!

Good Luck!

you shouldnt be worried. its almost IMPOSSIBLE to be rejected from ASU

yeah thats what i've heard, i'm just so nervous if i am i have nowhere to go

ur in.... i think if u got above a 1240 out of 1600 you are guaranteed or something...
