i am very worried about getting into UCB, UCLA, UCSD... what are my chances?

I am assuming you're california. If you are, I think you have a wonderful shot at most, if not all, the schools listed above. Your rank is excellent and your SAT is very nice as well. Good Luck!

Thanks, yeah i am from california, so getting into UC's would be a relatively cheap way to get a good education. Any other input? is Berkeley a strech? or a match?

are you going to change your majors depending on the colleges???

yeah those are my majors for college, i'm thinking abuot doing a EE then a MBA, but if i get into berkeley.. hass looks really good for undergrad business so i might do that, i'll decide where i wanna go and what i wanna do after i get in, i figure theres no point in going to a school for a major its not prestigous in. Those are the majors im going to be applying with

i agree with louis... from ucsd.ucsc, ucd, would be safe match, others match... (ucla and ucb

gtg_pee:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCB/UCLA: Match (Engineering)
UCSD: Safe Match (Engineering)
UCI/UCD: Safety (Engineering)
UCSC: Super Safety (Engineering)

i just learned that HAAS business school for berkeley requires freshman to apply as undeclared for letters and science college, then reapply to haas school junior year. there was a speaker from berkeley at my school telling me that to get into haas junior year is really hard and has a 11% pass rate, im scared that will get into berkeley and not get into haas my junior year, would it effect my chances to getting into berkeley if i just apply to berk as a Eletrical Engineer? is it that much harder to get into an engineering program vs undecided?

ne reponse?
