Help! I'm faced with a very hard decision. I am currently heavily involved in these two things: student council and another club. I am running for office but I'm not sure which one means more to me. The club is my passion, but so is the student council. At my school, you can not be a club officer if you are part of the student council; this really sucks because club officers can also be club officers in other clubs. So what should I do?

Help!!!!!!!!!!

dude......................

Would it be possible for you to assist student council without actually being on the board? If you are already on the council, (since you have a passion for it, I'm just assuming you are) perhaps you could speak with your student council advisor and figure out a way for you to help out throughout the year so you still have the experience. If you are a junior, then you have a difficult decision to make, as next year would be your last to be on the council. Are you allowed to run for both? You said you can't be on both at the same time, but perhaps you may not win one of the elections (a possibility, unless you are the only one running). This would rid you of the choice, and I suppose in you situation that may be a good thing.

I am a junior and if we are on our student council we are not allowed to be an officer on a club. That's why I need help deciding...

i think you should run for student coucil.

Run for club. Because it's your passoin. I'm a Class Office Treasurer so i know how this gets really stressful and you are more or less the person everyone blames when something bad happens.

That is a really dumb rule. Make your student council vote on changing that this year...so you can do both! :)
