Hello! I was hoping somebody could suggest some good matches/reaches for me, so I could get the opinions of others on what schools I have a shot at. I would prefer to be on the East Coast, and financial aid is NOT important right now. Thank you!!

GPA - 3.85 of 4.0
SAT - 1920
Class Rank - top 15%

Course load:
- 7 AP classes (AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP US History, AP Language & Composition, AP Statistics, AP Spanish, AP Literature)
-remaining classes were honors
-extremely rigorous, if not most rigorous available

ECs:
-Tutor/classroom helper at elementary school
-SASU (students against substance use - promoting students to be substance free and also planning events for school/community)
-Nursing home volunteer
-National honors society
-Spanish honors society
-Student representative for board of education (hold monthly meetings with board of ed, administrators, and teachers to discuss school)
-Planning committee (for school activities)
-Relay for life (cancer walk)
-Varsity lacrosse
-Varsity Basketball
-Rec league lacrosse ref

Work experience:
-Local retail store (10,11,12)
-Babysitting (9,10,11,12)
-Summer internship at a business - gained a lot of valuable knowledge here, learned about how businesses run, and how to do things like bookkeeping (9,10,11,12)

You need to give us something to work with here: What kind of schools are you interested in? what can you afford, size, urban/rural/suburban, preferred major(s) or professional interest, culture, weather, etc…

What does that mean? Right now? Have you actually asked what your parents will pay? Do you know your EFC? It’s one thing if your family is willing to pay $60K/year - then FA is not important at all.

Key West Florida to Bar Harbour Maine is the East Coast. Along with answering M’s Mom’s questions a little more focused geographic input (hot/cold, city/rural, etc) would help us in helping you.

What I mean by financial aid is not important right now is that my family can afford full tuition and will pay it if necessary. If I get some aid that’s great and they hope I do, but if worst comes to worst they will pay full tuition.

Size - I like bigger (10,000+, doesn’t matter how big it gets), but i wouldn’t mind looking in the 4,000 to 10,000 range

City/suburban/rural doesn’t matter as long as there are things to do on campus/a fun atmosphere. Weather also isn’t important to me. I guess I am willing to look from South Carolina to the top of the East Coat.
