Hey, does anybody knows anything about the summer bridge program and have been to one. what is the program like? are the classes hard?
please answer these questions!!!
thanks

for college students, you sign up as a teacher and you teach disadvantaged middle school students. there are programs all over the u.s. i believe. the hours are long and the stipend is pretty small for the number of hours you put in.

No, the OP is asking about U-M's Summer Bridge program. It's something different than what you are describing.

Bridge is a structured way of entering into Michigan. You have to take 3 classes, attend labs for math and english, and goto some outside activities, such as the challenge course or going to a Tigers baseball game.

I didn't attend Bridge, but almost everyone who attends loves it.

Keep in mind this program is not for most students entering Michigan; it is usually for those who need to get academically acclimated to a school of Michigan's pace before coming (usually due to a disadvantaged background of sorts).
