HELP! Switching major and school

I'm still sort of on the fence about this, but I'm seriously considering switching my major and my school at Rutgers by Spring Semester. Laundry list of reasons aside, if I were to do this, I'd be going from the school of Pharmacy to SAS. I'm a first-year undergrad student, so I guess it's not a big a deal as if I'd been here for long.

What actions should I take to get this transfer?

Is there anywhere I could get some counselling/advice for this switch - especially with what courses I should take next semester?

Thank you guys for reading this; I'm feeling pretty conflicted now, especially about moving out of a rigorous program like pharmacy - but I'm really starting to regret a future in pharmacy, and I want to become a teacher instead.

I guess I would speak to your pharmacy advisor first and they would refer you to someone in SAS to speak to. I’m sure they know what to do as they say that 50% of the freshman pharmacy class drops out or changes major.

@rualum: Okay, that sounds good. At first I wondered if there was even a process.

Do you know how to find your pharmacy advisor? I don’t remember being assigned to one exactly, but it might be in one of the emails…
