Help!take Ap Ush Or Not?

<p>I'm from Canada and my school doesn't offer any AP courses, so I decided to enroll on UCCP...I want to take AP USHistory because I want to take the US history SAT II, and I was wondering if it is a good idea to take this course without any preparation?</p>

<p>I have never had a course taught in American History, however, I will be taking american history 11 in high school next semester concurrently with AP US HISTORY if I do decide to enroll</p>

<p>Correct me if I am wrong, but you don't need to have any previous knowledge of any history course because it's just teach-and-memorize, right?</p>

<p>also, my school will not let me transfer the course credit to my high school transcript, so I guess the course doesn't really matter</p>

<p>should I just self study it or should I stick to the online course thanks</p>

<p>i looove AP US, and i think you'll be fine... i entered that class with only a US history class from 6th grade... and who's going to remeber that? i have an A in the class and got a 4 on the AP test... you'll be fine... if you're generally interested in the material (you sound like you are) then you're fine</p>

<p>Why isn't your school transferring the credit? That's not fair! Maybe they are unsure of how to do it...</p>
