Ok first, sorry for posting this on High School Life but this is actually my favorite and an ACTIVE forum but anyway...

All the colleges I'm applying to only require 1 math plus 1 science subject test...But what about taking Math 1 in addition to Math 2?? Because I could get like really high in math 1 (I got like 760 in the blue book) but really low in Math 2 and they would see I'm good with math but wast prepared for 2?? And that would just give them more info. on my math background?? I think what I'll do is sign up for both maths and change math 1 to something different if I have to (or cancel it) because the deadline is today and I have a fee waiver card!!

Why would you take both? Colleges will only see it as one test...

But if you're pressed for time, sign up for both, but on test day only take Math 2 and choose a science.

Oook...and it says that I can change it on test day so I might choose a humanities subject in place of math 1

^Exactly.
On test day, you'll get a test book that contains every subject test that is offered on that day, and you can pick and choose what you want to take.

Well the reason I was thinking of taking both is because if I get really low on level 2 but high on level 1, the college that require level 1 OR 2 (ie MIT) will see Im good in math but not prepared for 2...

Imo, it's better to get a low score on math 2 than a higher score on math 1, despite the high curve for math 2. Especially for MIT, if they ask for math 2 specifically, they could care less what you get on math 1, even if it's an 800.

(Although some may argue otherwise).
