<p>My teacher just told me that he has not finished my recommendation yet, but the deadline, obviously, has passed. Is there any excuse for this?</p>
<p>If it a teacher's fault, clearly not yours, I don't see why it can't be a few days late.</p>
<p>First breathe...you will live longer! this is one of othese experienes where you can lead a horse to water-but can't make them drink. Now...what do you think you should do next? ...IMO...get teacher to send in letter and thank them for the willingness to help you, call the admissions office to let them know you know your teacher did not meet the deadline and ask them what they recommend in this scenario, and make a note to yourself to be sure to followup on situations like this so it doesn't happen again.
