Hi!
So I'm considering sending in an early application via the common app (which is due at the unbelivably early date of October 15th!), but they have some rule saying that once you submit in an application, you can't make any changes to it.
That poses a huge problem to my score reports. I'm retaking the SATs and ACT in October ( I can live with my ACT score, but I'd like to see how I do on the SAT now that a whole year has passed), except that i know that I won't get the score report till a whole month after my early application is submitted, and I don't want a crappy score showing up if I can prevent it! Should I both ACT and SAT scores on the application then or is that to my disadvantage?

Also, for SATS IIs: I have two I can live with that aren't in MATH (not my strong suit!), but a few business undergrads I'm applying to are requiring a Math score. Can I just send it to those few schools and not post the score on the common app?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks a million! ^_^

I think as long as you send the score report to the school as you're registering for the SAT/ACT it should be fine. Most schools w/ like an ED deadline of Nov. 1 still accept Nov. (and maybe even Dec.) scores. you should be fine
and I think you can just send the SAT II's without putting on the common app (can't you change the app for each school though, or does the common app just do one copy for all schools?)

Thanks for the response! But yes, the common application will be automatically locked and no changes can be made to it once I submit it to any school.

oh, well I think all schools are gonna see the SATIIs anyway b/c it shows up on your SAT report (which you have to submit to all schools) so just put the scores on the app.
no problem =)

I have a similar question...Penn Huntsman requires a language subject test which I'll take in November. I'm using the common app for most colleges so should I just not list that I'm planning to take another test (I'm sending all my SAT scores before November) and then only send the language score to Penn? Or should I list that I'm planning to take another and not send to every college except Penn?
