<p>Okay so im kinda freaking out at the moment because the UC app is saying I only have 52 credit?? </p>
<p>I inputed all my grades from my transcript and my planned courses. I was expecting my Ap credit in US history to help me out, but I don't if the computer app is recognizing that. I also have credit from my high school for the Language requirement which I received 6 credit units for. I checked with my school and they said they would give me 6 unit for AP US history. How would I indicate that on my application, before i submit it..</p>

<p>Although UC will grant credit for AP the units are not included as part of the grand total of community college units and four year institution units. </p>

<p>There is a spot to enter AP work on the app but I don’t know if it will count towards credits, you may need to add some coursework to make the minimum.</p>
<p>The thing is, my school gave me unit credit for it. They gave me 6 units for AP US history and 6 for my Language requirment. It is in my transcript, but I don’t know how indicate that.</p>
<p>I’ve always heard that AP credits counted towards the total units if you needed it.
Plus, when I received my TAG acceptance message from UCD, it had my AP credits included in the total completed units.</p>
<p>I submitted my application with a total of 54 units, so I hope I’m right.</p>
<p>Those AP units will count. I recently spoke to my guidance counselor and found out that my 5 AP courses and tests that I took equated to 18 UC credits and 27 for Cal states. You have to find out on the university’s websites as to how many units each AP test is worth. But they will count towards the 60 transferable units.</p>
<p>I’ve decided to submit my app after all But now I have this same problem too It’s really strange cause the app says I only have 84 units or something. My UCI transcript says I have 74 completed already (not including fall). I’ve already used my Additional Comments section to explain how I plan to take at least 12 units in spring quarter and that I’m using AP units as transfer credit Any definitive answers? Everything is ready to be sent out, it’s just this that’s bothering me. I don’t want my app to be arbitrarily tossed out…</p>
<p>Wait, you receive units for taking high school language? I knew that if you took 2 (or 3?) years of a foreign language that you were clear for IGETC, but I never knew you receive units.</p>
<p>Am I misreading OP? Or have I really not known this all along?</p>
