lol. I don’t think those are even close to matches. you underestimate the high standards and the randomness at those schools.

for OP, I think your chances are quite good at most schools. John Hopkins is definitely a good choice for your majors, but it will be a bit of a reach. I’m not really good at suggesting universities though, so that’s all I’ve got. go ahead and apply Ivies if you like, since you are a strong candidate, but don’t expect anything because you don’t stand out in the applicant pool. but good luck with the app process :)

Also, I’m from the midwest if that helps me. One more stat I forgot was ACT 33 (34,34,32,30).

Any ideas on what might make me stand out?

Sounds like I just miss ivies, maybe I look one tier down?

Your grades are definitely good enough for the schools you want to apply to, but you’re right, you really need to stand out (especially for schools like Hopkins and Brown). Spend some time trying to think if there’s anything you’re passionate about, something really interesting that you might want to pursue in the next few months before you apply to schools. If you’re good at writing, you could consider writing a novel, or a children’s book. If you belong to a church, maybe you could go on a mission trip over the summer. You really want something to talk about during interviews or in essays that will make an admissions officer want to accept you. But even without these things, you would still have a decent chance at any school you apply to.
