So, its the beginning of April and I have come across a big problem: I thought i had my mind set in going to Duke for BME, but lately im not sure anymore. I got into JHU BME, MIT, Cornell, Case Western, BU, Northwestern, CMU, Duke, and UCSD BME and i dont know which one to choose. Im thinking of taking a pre-med track along, but im not entirely sure since im very interested in biomechanics too. Also, aerospace engineering attracts me and MIT has the best program I believe. I would appreciate opinions as to the life and majors at the schools i mentioned, particularly on BME and AE. Please, I need some advice. Thank you.

first congrats, thats a lot of choices, I think it will help if you cut it down a little to those that you really cant or rather not imagine yourself there

MIT is the best school. Duke is a good secondary choice if you want a traditional campus life.

Why is BME so popular on this board?

IMO, it's a very limiting major and everyone seems to be going into it...

I would go to MIT and major in a more traditional engineering discipline like mechanical or chemical engineering. But, that's me.

Congrats on your acceptances. You're obviously a bright individual who will do well no matter where you go.

thank you very much..well my top choices are Duke, JHU, and MIT..i love boston, but i also love a campus like Duke's..i havent visited Duke or MIt but ill be visiting these two upcoming weekends..i have visited JHU and although it didnt dazzle me its not a bad option
