Hi All!!!

I have a small dilemma and I need your help!!! I am currently a sophomore student at a community college in NJ and upon my graduation with an associates degree, I plan to apply to a few colleges that I always want to go to. I am a little behind schedule, so I will complete my associates degree this coming fall semester. This means that I have to apply to colleges for the Spring of 2013, but the problem is that none of the schools that I want to apply to accept spring applicants and its too late to apply to the schools for the fall semester. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

What do you think: I was thinking about attending a nearby college for the spring 2013 semester and then apply to the other schools for the fall 2013.

Or do you think I should take the spring semester off and wait till the fall semester of 2013?

Thank you so much for your help. You don't know how much this means to me! Thankssss =)

Wait and apply for the fall 2013 enrollment (it’s better to wait and apply to schools you really want to attend, rather than pick a list of schools to apply to only bc they allow spring transfers imo). You are graduating with an associates, so you can find work hopefully in that field until you begin your remaining 2 years of undergrad. Most schools will not allow you to transfer more than the 60 credits from the cc, so it would really just waste money to attend another university for the spring semester if you really aren’t going to remain there. See if you can find employment for the spring, or do some type of service/internship (talk to your cc career center for help with work or internships) while you wait for fall '13. Btw, sometimes a school will admit you for fall and will also allow you to start classes in the summer before then. See if the universities that you are planning to apply to will allow this (?). I know, it’s hard to be patient and wait when you want to start in January…I have a family member in this situation right now.
