What's more impressive to grad schools, studying abroad for a year or transferring to a more prestigious school?

I'm not happy where I am (a no-name school), but I can survive and although financially it's hard for my parents, transferring to a more expensive school might be even worse. I want more professors and class choices in my department, and to go to a school people on the East Coast will actually know of, but is it worth giving up study abroad?

Any opinions appreciated!!
