So I checked on their website for the transfer information… but I have two questions

The letter I got after I was waitlisted say the prefer transfer students with junior standing… and I plan on transferring after the 1st year otherwise no… so what are the chances of that working out? Do most people transfer after their 1st or 2nd year?

What are the statistics for transferring into the college of engineering? As in, do most people transfer there and get in, or is it hard because space isnt availabe?

I was wondering the same thing.
Im not sure exaclty why they would prefer juniors…but I do know many people who transfered after their first years.

On their website it says about 1200/3000 transfer students are admitted each year.

their college of Eng have some prerequisites that is hard for sophomore standing transfers unless with a lot AP credits… you need to have passed things like multivariable calc, dif equations, electromagnetism etc… which are 200 level courses in majority of colleges.
btw, I transferred in sophomore standing and get in, but in LSA which have fewer prereqs.
