Help transfering to a Cal school with a good CS program and 3.2 gpa ?

Hello! I'm new to the forums here so please forgive me if I'm doing something... uncool.

I'm currently going to an out of state university. I just finished my freshman year there, however, I've been seriously considering transferring back to a California school to save money (since I live in California). It wouldn't be for next year but the year afterwards (my Junior year)

But I'm having difficulty choosing which one(s) to try and transfer to...

I want a decent school for computer science, however I only have a 3.2 gpa. If I wanted to transfer my Junior year I believe schools will only see my first semester sophomore year when choosing applicants, right?

SJSU I believe wants a 3.3 for computer science, I don't think I can get that in one semester (did some math).
I guess there's Cal Poly Pomona/SLO but I have no idea what type of transfer gpa they want.
And can I assume a 3.2 is too low for the UC's ?

Any help on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated :) !!

For Cal Poly SLO: The average GPA for transfer into the School of Engineering last year was 3.49. With CS being extremely competitive, I would think this years STATS are little higher.
A GPA of 3.2 may get you into UCR, Cal Poly Pomona, CSULB and CSUF.

In your opinion which ones have the best computer science fields or have better internship opportunities

I would consider Cal Poly Pomona or UCR as the top possibilities. I would still apply to SLO, you never know. You might want to check out SDSU since San Diego has a lot of job opportunities in CS also. Good Luck
