help! transferring to dream school, possible?

SORRRY, lost the post!
As a transfer, they look at your class selections (and how they can transfer into their GEs), your GPA (with an emph. in the classes that relate to your major), work experience, college extracric., NOT YOUR SATs (well, some east coast schools do, but, I'm pretty sure they don't realllly look at them --since you took them 2 years prior--- UCs don't.).....not really your hs stuff at all. You have 2 years to be a whole new applicant...! haha. But, just a warning....when all of your friends are having fun away from home in their little dorms, and you're still at home at CC, it's depressing. ....like I said b4, I'll tell you how greatful I might be about CC in Aug.!

My stat teacher talked to a berk rep who visited my CCC, and he said that the rep said berk prefers students to attend CCC for their first 2 years than just going straight to berk right after high school. THis doen's make any sense but it's almost unbelievable

this is all really helpful, I just talked to my friend who transferred from a CC to Harvard, and she said its all about the grades your first two years of college, and how active you are- "so they can see what you'll bring to their campus". I can't wait to transfer, I hope I get in.
