HELP! Tufts Supplement App Question!

OK, theres a question in the TUfts supplement app about education this one

"Education does not accomplish anything if it does not stretch your mind, if it does not force you to think about things in different ways, if it does not challenge you to examine some of your assumptions,” says Provost Jamshed Bharucha. Describe the aspects of Tufts’ curriculum or undergraduate experience that prompt your application. "

Anyway around the first few days the supplement was posted I can swear the word limit was 250 for this essay,,,I wrote my esssay and everything and now when I go back to the page to fill in my essay to submit it it says the word limit is 50 ?!!?!? Is it just me? or did anyone get the same thing? I have the old one saves on my computer and it says 250? I dont get it, did they change it?!

It's 50. They had 50 on the printed version of the supplement when it first came out, but they screwed up the online version and said it was 250 for the first day, and then they changed it back to 50.

damn, this is bs

I agree. 50 words = 2 to 3 sentences tops = not enough space to explain why Tufts interests you.

Just wondering.... Is the "In there own words" section (<a href="http://admissions.tufts.edu/?pid=173&c=154%5B/url%5D">http://admissions.tufts.edu/?pid=173&c=154</a>) on the Tufts website actual student answers to the "Why Tufts?" prompt?

If its like....55 words, do you think it matters?

55 wds is probably fine. 60 might b epushing it. Who knows? Call Admissions.
