Help! UC Davis YSP 2014 (Chance)

Hi all,
So I was considering YSP this year (I'm a sophomore in HS), and I think it's pretty interesting. Until I saw the stats of the people that got accepted. if you guys could chance me (?) that would be great (and save myself some application fees & time in the process :D) So here goes:

-HS Sophomore
-GPA: 3.87 (unweighted), 4.182 (weighted) (Semester 1)
-Courses: History, Honors English, Spanish 2, Chem, Honors Algebra II, AP Psychology (online) (Taking the highest courses for my grade, except for AP Biology and Spanish 2)

Activities: the **** asterisks ***** denotes stuff I quit :( // and the $$ denotes stuff I joined this year (lol, seems weird)

-Robotics $$
-Science Olympiad: Engineering Captain. Won 1st and 2nd place for Boomilever and Elastic Launched Glider @ State.*****
-Science Club
-Speech and Debate: Public Forum debater *****
-Math Club
-Future Business Leaders of America ******
-Orchestra
-Track & Field $$
-Green Club $$

Outside Activities :D / summer / etc

-Cello
-Member of a non-profit (education equality)
-California Nanosystems Institute, UCLA (Summer Nanoscience Camp)
-University of Chicago Summer Session (undergrad classes)

Note: I have never competed in Siemens/Intel/other national or international science competition

I want to study science/medicine in college. Not sure yet but I am also looking into COSMOS and other programs. Exploring this weird combo of biology/chemistry/engineering this summer....This program is my top choice, but I am really not sure about applying.

Thanks.

@mylifeisgone195‌ Did you get in?

Hi @anatomy98‌ , I ended up not applying. Instead I applied to the City of Hope’s Eugene & Ruth Roberts Summer Program.
